He has been a registered chiropractor since 2000 with the General Chiropractic Council, which is part of the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

Claudio possesses a keen interest in clinical research in sports chiropractic care. He has investigated the perception and impact of sports chiropractic on master athletes aged over 60. He focused on track and field and master's level athletics while pursuing a Doctorate in Professional Practice (Sports Chiropractic) at London South Bank University.
Also, he has actively participated in the LSBU Integrated Masters in Chiropractic program as a clinical tutor and supervisor for the final-year interns at the chiropractic teaching clinic, offering them the essential clinical knowledge required for their future roles as practitioners in the chiropractic field.
Claudio's Professional Doctorate research thesis has been performed in three sequential phases. His study has been prospectively registered in the Open Science Framework, and its first phase has received the 2023 FICS 1st prize award in Paris and the 2024 prize winner for "Original Research" at the Abstract for Clinical Evidence at the Parker Seminars in Las Vegas. This Phase of his research was a survey about the Older Master Track and Field Perceptions of Chiropractic Care and Manual Therapies in the UK. This research provided a valuable insight into the benefits of chiropractic care for sports injuries and contributed to the academic discourse in Sports Chiropractic. Also, the second phase of his research has been registered at the UK ISRCTN Clinical Trials, which was about a Feasibility trial of the effects of chiropractic care on sports performance and its short-term impact on strength and coordination in older track and field athletes. Finally, the third phase has been published as an abstract in the Journal of Contemporary Chiropractic and was about the UK aged 60+ athletes’ perceptions and experiences of pre-competition sports chiropractic care on sports performance, with some of the athletes from the second phase of the research.
Before starting his Doctorate, Claudio completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation with Merit (2011) from St Mary's University College in Twickenham, Middlesex, and his research dissertation about the short-term effects of manipulation on acceleration, velocity, and flexibility in rugby union players was published in the "Clinical Chiropractic” journal.
Also during 2014-15, he assisted in investigating neck function and its effects on the Cervical Range of Motion in rugby players at the Clinical Technology & Diagnostics Research Unit at the University of South Wales with the London Broncos Rugby League team.
In 2015, Claudio was introduced to the Prague Rehabilitation School to study in the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation Post Graduate Certified Practitioner Programme.
